Forced to seek shelter and safety inside a space ship buried under his motu, Sebastian discovers that the strange florescent green pelicans are actually Dorrgroos, an alien species from another galaxy. The friendly Dorrgroos can morph into the forms of other living creatures. But so can the Zeppendulars; an evil species of alien that occupy the larger island across the lagoon.
The feuding species of aliens have been stranded on the atoll following the crash of both of their space ships eons ago. The Zeppendulars have managed to uncover and repair their ship and are getting close to leaving with the only means to get back home. To make matters worse, the ‘Zepps’ have placed a cloak around the entire atoll that renders it invisible from the air or sea. The Dorrgroos survival, Sebastian’s rescue and the future of the planet earth may all rest in Sebastian’s ability to develop and execute a plan to hijack the Zeppendular’s space ship.

Sebastian steps in front of the pod containing the Ichthyosaur amphibious dinosaur.
“Let’s see you morph into this.”
The aliens step back wide-eyed and give the “no” sign; putting a thumb to their noses and wiggling their fingers rapidly. Sebastian laughs loudly.
“I was just messing with you. I’d probably wet my pants if I saw one of these things alive.”
He steps in front of the pod containing the woman.
“What about her? She looks friendly.”
All the aliens give the “yes” sign.
“Does she speak the same language as me?
Again, the “yes” sign.
“Awesome! Then one of you guys has to morph into her so we can have a regular conversation and I can find out what I need to know.”
The aliens stare blankly at Sebastian.

Now able to have a conversation with Beanie who has morphed into the woman’s form, Sebastian has many questions.
“How did Dorrgroos and Zeppendulars both end up here?”
Beanie replies, “Our mission was to find a world where we might live in peace, without fear. The Zeppendulars followed us.”
“And they can morph into other shapes the way you can?”
“Yes. The beings in what your kind calls the universe do not differ greatly. Shapes may be different, but there is both good and evil in all species.”
“You said you need my help. Why?”
“Our food supply has dwindled and we can no longer regenerate sufficient energy by taking the shape and eating the food of other species. We are slowly dying.”
Faded to a pale gray color, some of the other Dorrgroos drop to the floor and curl up asleep.
“But, Beanie...”
“Our naviskel is also dying. The skin of our craft is submerged and cannot regenerate power from the stars. But the Zeppendulars have exposed their naviskel to your star and it will soon have sufficient power to leave.”
“And you want me to help you capture Zepp’s ship so you can use it to get home?”
“You are wise, Sebastian.”
“But I’m just a kid.”
“You have many skills. And you are much larger and stronger than the Zeppendulars.”
“But they have much bigger and sharper teeth!"

The dinghy rests on a work top at the far end of the room. Two Dorrgroos recline inside it as if sharing a bath tub. When they see Sebastian and Beanie approach, they snap to attention and try to look busy.
The dinghy is almost fully inflated. As Sebastian nears he hears a noise much like the sound of someone blowing into an air mattress. He rounds the work station where a Dorrgroo sits on the floor panting, and another presses its tiny mouth against the air valve on the dinghy. The little aliens alternate between gasping for air and blowing into the boat. Sebastian laughs loudly.
“I guess you guys don’t have air compressors where you come from, huh?”
The Dorrgroos slump in embarrassment. Sebastian examines the repair job on the outer hull.
“Wow...very impressive! I can barely see a seam.”
The two Dorrgroos inside the dinghy look proud and happy. They give each other a high five. Sebastian steps back and holds his hands out wide, as if measuring.
“Can this fit through the hatch?”
The two Dorrgroo inflators look at each other, then shrug their shoulders. Beanie becomes very animated and after some chirps and whistles, the two in the dinghy jump down, hold up one hand each on opposite sides of the dinghy, then run from the room in the direction of the hatch.

Sebastian laughs, then points his water gun at the engineer and knocks him down with a stream of water. Beanie leaps up and grabs the third gun and an all-out squirt gun battle erupts in the workshop. When the battle dies off, Sebastian rises from behind a work station and lifts his emptied gun in the air.
“Woohoo! Humans rock!”
Immediately, Beanie leaps from behind another work station and blasts Sebastian with a final stream of water. All of the other Dorrgroos climb out of hiding and jump up and down exchanging high-fives and fist bumps. Sebastian sits on the floor laughing, his t-shirt and shorts thoroughly soaked.
“Good one, Beanie! I think we’re ready to finalize our plan of attack on the Zepps."
